What is AFFF foam extinguishing Agent ?

AFFF( shorted Aqueous Film-forming Foam) fire extinguishing agent is an efficient and environmentally friendly fire extinguishing agent. It is composed of various components such as fluorocarbon surfactants, stabilizers, anticoagulant, and other ingredients.
AFFF Foam extinguising agent relies on the dual effects of foam and water film to quickly overwhelm the fire and extinguish the fire. AFFF foam extinguishing agent is mainly used to extinguish fires caused by non-water-soluble substances such as petroleum and petroleum products. It is not suitable for extinguishing fires caused by water-soluble substances such as alcohols, esters, ketones, aldehydes, and ethers.
It has the concentration ratio of 1%,3%and 6% ,which can be mixed with fresh water at a ratio of 1:99/ 3:97/6:94 to foam and extinguish fires.
This product can quickly extinguish fires in oil fields, oil depots, refineries, ships, airport chemical plants, and flammable polar solvents such as alcohol, vinegar, ether, organic acid, amine, ketone, etc.
